DUE TO COVID-19 lot of people have lost their job or work and lot of others are trying hard, by working late and long hours or taking risk of going out to work for themselves or for their employer.

Thus, it is very important for you also to plan your work, set some rules in your career to make it more successful, this either you include as rules / advice in your life or do read this on everyday basis to become successful. You may look to develop your own rules and advices also.

Also managing your career is a skill, this can be learned if you practice.

So here through this blog, I will be giving some of the career advices to all the professionals who are reading this article, who are either looking to start of their career after student life or they are just want to advance in their career or bring back their career on track.

Now a days, word leadership has become very soft discussion topic where by, lower level hierarchal manager is not considered as leader while only top hierarchal individuals are called as Leaders. Are you one of them where respect is driven by level you hold in organization or group of people??

However when we try to understand what leadership word exactly means as per google also - it means an action of leading group of people or an organization. Thus a good leader is one who can influence group of people to follow him or her. This leader realizes what value he bring for themselves and to his followers.

Leadership word is not a title given out of approved organizational hierarchy or offer or appraisal document given to an individual. It is a position and responsibility acknowledged not only by the individual himself but also by the individuals or group of people following him.

We often confuse a leader with a boss or a manager in an organization. This is also not new but Leaders have more shell life in terms of people management and support obtained by them than a hierarchical manager. You can become leader too....

To become leader - one should look for the following:-

1. This individual should be someone who has a vision and can see beyond the given situation.
2. He owns his task, responsibility of group of individual
3. Take risk and initiative to lead the direction
4. Being empathetic is the biggest asset of any individual becoming leader.
5. Leader should be able to guide and mentor those who don't know which direction to follow
6. He should be able to influence or convince his team or followers to believe in his vision and bring others along with him.
7. Stepping into the situation and then upholding the hand of those in difficult time to bring them up is something a leader would do. He is a people person.
8. A positive leader will look for win-win situation.
9. They are the game changer and look for a change which is in favour of their people, community or country at large. 
10. They are continuous learners, observer, reader and implementer having self confidence in their vision. He is also one who of the most hardworking individual in the group who takes his people along with him while setting examples to follow.

There is a popular phrase says all - 'Rough waters are the truer test of leadership. In calm water, every ship has a good captain".

In history also you have multiple example who have demonstrated leadership in different phases and era like dealing from social causes to businesses, businesses to politics, Politics to sport and so on, for instance -

Before that note there are always four type of people:-

• P = Practical person - who looks every situation practically and deals with all problem and situation in effective manner.
• A= Actionable -who don't apply his mind and just action as instructed
• S= Social -Who spend most of his time of gossip, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tic Tok - sending viral messages, videos and spend most of their time socializing with friends and giving gyan. They are the master of Time Killer. They waste not only their time but of others also.
• E= Emotional - who gets emotional and reactive at petty instances and ready to fight and cry at small intervals and loose the focus.

Try to have more of "P" in your life, it could be from any one you know whom you admire and have achieved mutlifold success, it could be your parents also or a friend or sibling also.

So this COVID try to learn and start walking the path of leadership, and then after practice of your learned subject become a Mentor to bring meaning to your and others life.
